These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Scrap2Door website and our doorstep scrap pickup service. By booking a pickup or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. Our service

Scrap2Door buys recyclable scrap — such as paper, plastic, metal, e-waste and old appliances — from households and businesses, and sends it to authorised recyclers. Pickups are booked through WhatsApp or phone.

2. Booking and pickup

• Pickups are subject to availability in your area and the time slot you choose.
• Free pickup applies to a minimum quantity (currently 15 kg). Smaller quantities may be clubbed with nearby pickups.
• Please ensure someone is available at the address during the agreed slot.
• We may reschedule or cancel a pickup due to weather, traffic or other unforeseen circumstances, and will inform you promptly.

3. Pricing and weighing

• Rates shown on our website are indicative and may change with market conditions without prior notice.
• The final price depends on the actual weight, type and condition of the scrap, and is confirmed at the time of pickup.
• All scrap is weighed on a digital scale in your presence.
• You are free to decline the sale if you do not agree with the final price.

4. Payment

Payment is made at the time of pickup via UPI, bank transfer or cash. Once payment is made and the scrap is collected, the sale is final and ownership of the material passes to Scrap2Door.

5. Items we do not accept

• Hazardous, explosive, flammable or radioactive materials.
• Medical or biological waste.
• Stolen goods or items you do not legally own.
• Any item whose sale or possession is restricted by law.

By selling to us, you confirm that you are the rightful owner of the items. Please remove all personal data from electronic devices before handing them over; we are not responsible for data left on devices.

6. Conduct and safety

Our pickup partners are trained to be courteous and professional. We expect the same courtesy in return. We may refuse service in case of abusive behaviour or unsafe conditions.

7. Limitation of liability

We take care during pickups, but to the extent permitted by law, Scrap2Door is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Any claim for damage caused by our team must be reported within 24 hours of the pickup.

8. Website content

All content on this website, including text, graphics and logos, belongs to Scrap2Door and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts where Scrap2Door is registered.
